Lauren Otsuki is the Co-Founder and Head of Product Innovation of Ourself and its parent company, GLO Pharma. Lauren has over 25 years of experience in biotechnology product development and commercialization, as well as specific expertise in pre-clinical programs. Lauren has founded and managed five successful biotech firms, DexCom, NovaCardia, Oncternal Therapeutics, Alastin Skincare, and Prometheus Biosciences, where she was responsible for development and operations. Prior, Lauren held a number of executive level positions in operations, development, and manufacturing at Quidel Corporation, an in vitro diagnostics company. She has played an integral role in implementing scientific research and development into skincare product formulation with leading professional skincare companies like SkinMedica and Alastin Skincare, and now in aesthetics with Ourself and GLO Pharma.
Vimla Black Gupta is the Co-Founder and President of Ourself, who brings more than 25 years of marketing leadership to the role. Her entrepreneurial spirit and deep knowledge of the beauty industry have allowed her to drive growth and product innovation for premier global companies including Procter & Gamble and The Estee Lauder Companies. Known as a pioneer in the beauty industry, Vimla saw the opportunity with Ourself to define an entirely new category in skincare that will help consumers to look and feel their best. As President, she will guide the strategic direction of the company, from product innovation to international expansion.
